During the 2018 Performance Racing Industry Trade show (PRI), Noble Star Rally driver, Amanda “RalyGrl” Skelly announced she will be joined by up and coming co-driver Sarah Freeze for the 2019 season.
“I bought a Subaru, and it changed my life!”, says Freeze.
The two met at a local nature center, by way of their Subaru ownership. The ladies noticed one another’s cars in the parking lot, and when Freeze spotted Skelly walking up to her WRX, she introduced herself and the two became fast friends.
“It is kind of mind boggling to look at how everything has come together over the last several months, but when I met Sarah, I just had this hunch that she was the missing puzzle piece. I proposed the idea of co-driving to her, and after a few days of contemplation, she surprised me by saying that she was all in! I honestly could not be more excited and I am really looking forward to what this year brings us”, states Skelly.
This season will be Skelly’s 8th year competing in stage rally, and the team has decided to compete Nationally, for the very first time. Skelly has already competed at the Sno*Drift Rally last month with veteran co-driver Amy Feistel, who Freeze had the pleasure of shadowing during the event. The all-women team successfully completed the rally with minor challenges, and resulted 4th in class, and 11th overall in National scoring.

This will be followed by their first National ARA event as a team at the 2019 100 Acre Wood Rally in Salem, MO on 15-16 March just two weeks later.
