STPR Anticipates Return of Fan Favorite Amanda "RalyGrl" Skelly
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
The Noble Star Rally (NSR) Team is excited to announce the return of driver Amanda “RalyGrl” Skelly to the back country gravel roads of Wellsboro, PA during this years Susquehannock Trail Performance Rally (STPR). STPR is held during the 1st and 2nd of June, sanctioned by the American Rally Association.
“It has been a long awaited return for the team and I, and I am looking forward to finally being back on stage and getting a chance to see all the fans again from a competitors standpoint. It is always amazing to see the smiles on the spectators faces during the events, and to be able to thank the volunteers for all their time and hard work for the events” says Skelly.
Skelly competed last at STPR during 2014 while co-driving for NSR teammate Ian Kessler. Fans are excited for the anticipated return to see Skelly debuting her new rally car after a 3 year absence. Earlier this season, Skelly competed in two rallysprints both on mud and tarmac; giving the car a solid shakedown before an official debut on stage. Over winter, the car was completely torn down and rebuilt, including a new cage by Restoration Race Works, Inc. (RRW) of Raleigh, NC and a new engine by TurboTime Subaru Specialists of Apex, NC.
The 1997 Subaru Impreza was named “Stitch”, after Disney’s animated film “Lilo and Stitch”. The car will be competing in the Naturally Aspirated 4 Wheel Drive (NA4WD) Class and Skelly will be joined by up and coming co-driver Jessica Beliveau, making up the only all female rally team in car during the event. While Beliveau has competed in rallysprints with husband and fellow competitor, Jamie Beliveau, STPR serves as her first official stage rally.
“I am really excited to share the adventure with Amanda and for a chance for us to work together” concludes Beliveau
Skelly would like to thank her 2018 Sponsors & Supporters:
Link ECU, TurboTime, Whiteline, Restoration Race Works, Inc., 5Star Graphics & Design, Turtle Gloves, DCCDPro.com, Impression Center, Team Illuminata Motorsport (TIM), BRAID Wheels USA, KSport USA, Bridgemoto & Rocky Mt. Autosports.
