Noble Star Rally team supports Michigan Humane Society
Competing in the Open Light class of the Rally America Regional Championship, the Noble Star Rally team (NSR), has partnered with the Michigan Humane Society. This partnership serves as an opportunity for each party to support one another through various tracks of life. Both NSR and the MHS are excited for the future possibilities.
“Awareness for animal cruelty and homelessness is essential more today than it has ever been. NSR is a strong support of the MHS and our hope is to help support the society in saving helpless animals lives. I think this is a great opportunity and we are looking forward to helping as much as we can” says driver, Amanda Skelly.
MHS is a charitable 501(c) 3 animal welfare organization. It is the largest and oldest animal welfare organization in the state of Michigan, which cares for more than 100,000 animals each year. The organization’s mission is to end companion animal homelessness. It provide the highest quality of
Ten percent of all proceeds from NSR team apparel where the MHS logo appears will be donated to the Michigan Humane Society to help support the cause and continue to help provide animals with stable and loving homes.
“A lot of people don’t realize that we are a private organization,” said MHS Events Manager Nicole Senczyszyn. “We are not a state funded program and we don’t receive any money from the government.”
The Noble Star Rally Team’s goal is to be able to bring some relief to the organization, even if only by a little. NSR will be working with the MHS to coordinate events to promote animal adoption and cruelty awareness as well as providing assistance to the local shelters by volunteering their time.
Noble Star Rally is based out of Rochester Hills, Mich.
