Sno*Drift Rally Teams Support Atlanta Community School’s Science Camp Fundraiser
The town of Atlanta, Michigan has been the annual home of the Sno*Drift Rally where top national and
local regional teams have descended
At the center of all the rally commotion the Atlanta High School has been an integral location to the Sno*Drift Rally providing heated bus garages for rally tech inspections and opening their doors and kitchen during Saturday’s services each year. In addition many of the event’s volunteers also include local students from the community.
Though the Sno*Drift Rally has come and passed and the rally car excitement has dissipated, rally car teams are still supporting the community by donating various items to auction for the Atlanta Community School’s 5th and 6th science camp fundraiser. Some of the participating teams include Subaru Rally Team USA, Noble Star Rally, Crazy Leo from Can-Jam Motorsports, Cline Exedy Racing, Thompson Racing Fabrication and TAG Rally Sport.
The school is in need of $7,000-$8,000 in order to send the children to a three day learning science camp. The student’s parents are organizing the fundraiser, which includes an auction and spaghetti dinner to help raise money for the children.
The fundraiser will be held on April 13th, 2013, at the Atlanta Eagles Hall beginning with a spaghetti dinner followed with the auction. Doors are open to the public at 6pm. Tickets are available in advance for $10 by emailing the organizer, Angie Weaver at email@example.com, or they can be purchased for $12 at the door. There are only 200 tickets available for the event.
Donations for the cause can be mailed to: Atlanta Community Schools (Science Camp) P.O. Box 619 Atlanta, MI 49709 NOTE: PLEASE include “Science Camp” somewhere on the check.
